Solicitation For Incumbent Worker Training Grants

SC Works Upstate is now accepting applications for Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) Grants. IWT Grants are issued to employers to upgrade the skills of their current employees. They provide opportunities for training in programs ranging from computer skills to manufacturing skills specific to industries.

OneStop Committee Meeting

The OneStop Committee is comprised of local Upstate WIB members. They are responsible for ensuring the local SC Works system fits into the UWIB’s strategic plan to address the upstate area’s workforce needs. They develop and recommend practices to align local service delivery with the UWIB overall strategic intent. They also review and recommend procedures and policies of the SC Works OneStop system and make recommendations to the full WIB on modifications to the SC Works Operators grant.

The UYA is a committee of the Upstate Workforce Investment Board and a governing body designated to oversee that the needs of our youth are addressed.
